Here are some pictures from our recent Bike Fun-raiser breakfast, for the village of Makomray, Sierra Leone, organized by frequent visitor, Marilyn Shaw. We were graced with spectacularly beautiful weather, and a turnout of over 30 people, and we raised $1800, enough to fund 3 school-teachers in the village for a year.

A very special thanks to Marilyn Shaw, for following her bliss, her love of biking, of breakfast, and a desire to make a real difference in the world. And special thanks to Steve and Sentho for continuing to share their love for the children of Makomray, with us.

Thank you to the many volunteers that helped to make this year’s Blessing of the Animals so successful! And much gratitude that even though it threatened to, it did NOT rain “cats and dogs”!
