Get Involved
As a denomination of the United Church of Christ, Skyline Church supports and promotes the active participation of its members in all of the church’s affairs. In order to facilitate the smooth operations of church services and certain traditions, here are some guidelines for various functions which anyone can serve at a given service.
We like to keep a roster for specific positions (e.g., Liturgist, Host, and Greeter) and are always looking for more participants to keep the roster full! New members, or those wishing to step up to any level of service at Skyline, are always appreciated. Please check out the guidelines pertaining to your particular service interest. Sunday School Adult Helpers:
Get involved in the lives of our children and youth by joining the Child Care Support Team! Volunteer for one Sunday a month or to serve as an Alternate. After the Passing of the Peace during service, the Adult Helper joins the Children, Youth & Family director and teen helper for the Sunday School lesson and craft time, followed by playtime in the Preschool Room. A short orientation on this role is available by contacting the Children, Youth & Family Director.
