Worship at skyline is characterized by such words as authentic, relevant, real, visually beautiful, inspiring, restful, prophetic, and fun, celebrated with a progressive, compassionate, spirit -filled faith community. Our location is stunningly beautiful.The sanctuary at Skyline is like worshipping outdoors, only better because everyone is comfortable in padded chairs.  The soaring wood paneled ceiling and spectacular 30-foot high glass wall overlook the pristine beauty of East Bay Regional Parks and Mount Diablo. Our sermons offer insights about the psychological and universal spiritual truths embedded in the scriptures, offering meaning for our lives today. We offer special services, including Taize services, the blessing of animals, labyrinth walking, Justice vigils such as the Ghost ship, inauguration vigil, Orlando shootings, coming out Sunday, Pride Sunday, MLK Sunday. Earth month, and black history month. Our music is awesome!  We are a vibrant ministry within the church and are always seeking new members. Are you passionate about singing or playing an instrument? We recognize the fragility of the earth and our own capacity to do harm. It is urgent that, as earth’s stewards, we make a commitment to our children and future generations to minimize our impact on the earth. We are working locally and globally in these efforts.
